Dave Shea had dinner with the IE team and reports the following:

“We get min-width and max-width. Oh, joyous day.”

I found this out through a comment posted at my blog, you can read the full story at mezzoblue: MIX06. This functionality has been added to the latest version of IE 7 Beta 2, which you can download at the microsoft.com download page.

If you have heard or read anything from me in the past couple months, you know I’ve been threatening to cry if max-width would not be implemented. Congrats to the IE team for doing us all a huge favor. Now go use max-width if you haven’t already!
